First try

Well since our previous mode of updating you with photos of the girls and our adventures, Carepage.com, has changed and I do not like the new format, I am attempting to set-up a blog which hopefully will be easier for everyone to check-out and see without having to log-in etc...

Anyway, it is August 2, 2008 and we are as settled into our new home as we are going to get until we finish our basement in a year or two, so the Carver Home is ready and waiting for visitors. Please feel free to make reservations.

Samantha will start pre-school on August 28th and she is excited. Madeyln and I will fill our mornings walking on the trail, playing at the park and once a week going to Kindermusik class. I know we will miss Samantha but enjoy our one-on-one time together.

Jeffrey has been into work for the past few weeks in preparation for teaching a class he has not taught before. I have no doubts he will do well and enjoy the experience. It seems his colleagues really want him to bring in grants so I know he will focus time on that as well as preparing articles to be published. Jeffrey has been amazing bicycling to work (30-40 minutes). He will hopefully be able to continue with Samantha in the trailer several times a week too so that I only have to pick her up after pre-school.

We are preparing for Jeffrey's parents to visit for about a week. The girls are thrilled and we are all looking forward to it.
