Moving Forward

Well it has been a stressful year with putting our house back on the market and now coming up on 1 year and still owning it life is pretty frustrating when we think about it. We had an offer and we were counter offering and the couple got cold feet and walked away.. our ONLY offer and ONLY interest in a year. Needless to say we wish we had accepted the first offer and been done.

So Jeffrey and I are relieved that after a month of stress that I am healthy and clear of any breast cancer or other problems. I had a biopsy last Thursday and got the good news yesterday. But a scare nonetheless and way too much "what if-ing" going through my mind. (to those reading this and asking, WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL ME, we didn't want anyone else worrying until we knew there was something to worry about, and since there isn't, just be glad for us)

I've struggled since last fall with weight gain and even working with a personal trainer I cannot take off the pounds I've gained since moving here. Turning 40 sucks and I feel my body is falling apart.

I am going to make a concerted effort to control my food intake and become a healthier more positive person. Nothing good comes from stress and I need to be a better in many realms of my life.

So here is to me and my blogging about controling my food intake... I plan to try and blog instead of eat, so look forward to many useless entries of me trying not to eat.

Later,
angela

Congratulations on being breast cancer free. My mom got it when she was around 36, and it certainly was a life changer. Keeping weight off is tricky. I just read something that I think I will try, because I am only gaining and not loosing. I will play with Aidan more...like chase and leap frog and jumping around the house and stuff. I'm going to set a timer for 10 minutes every day and gradually increase it over the months to being 20 or more minutes. I think this will be great fun! And it should be fun to have the goal of being able to do a push up with him sitting on my back (but I must hurry, because he is growing way too fast). :) Looking forward to reading more!
