Well Samantha is loving pre-school and usually cries a little when I come to pick her up. The hot pink and purple sand is the BEST! But she draws letters first thing when she arrives and then can go from room to room doing what she would like. There is a crafts room for cutting, gluing, painting, play-doh, a room with large blocks and indoor sandbox and slide and fireman pole. There is also a room which changes weekly from kitchen to camp-out to whatever the teachers can come up with. The playground is large with stuff to climb and do and the back/back outdoor area is grass with plants to attract butterflies.
Madelyn and Mom are walking on the trail, playing at parks and shopping while Sam is at pre-school. We start Kindermusik next week so that will fill up are Wednesday mornings.
I have joined the MOMS Club of Morgantown-West. I volunteered to do the newsletter and find speakers for monthly business meetings. In three days I had two speakers and the president was like, "you just moved here, do you know these people?" I just said, it is just like what I used to do working, so it was easy. I went to the MOMS Night Out and spent two hours laughing with 3 other Moms who all had moved to Morgantown less than 2 years ago. It was GREAT. I'm also hosting the September Moms Night Out at my house to do wine tasting from our stock. All the other Moms will bring food.
I have a feeling once the girls are both in school, I'll find some great job (either paid or volunteer) with event coordinating of some sort.
We had a couple from across the street over for wine Sunday night. Mingming works at WVU and Li is finishing her doctorate at Ohio University in Communications. She wants to be an event planner... perhaps we will start a business together. Who knows?
Well it is time to start dinner. I'll download and upload some new photos soon! Tonight is the season premier of BONES, so it won't be tonight!
Love to all!
Angela

Sounds like things are going well and you're getting into a routine. I think the Mom's Group is wonderful... I very much wish I had something like that to join, out neighborhood doesn't have many young families. I looked into a Tri Delta Alumna Group and there isn't one. So I thought about starting one - but since I'm in Canada it's scarce and most of people are much older and live in Victoria which I think is about2 hours (including a ferry ride) away. Why am I rambling??? My point is that I think it's wonderful you've found a group and can meet some people (especially other moms!) in what is now your new home! :)
Take care,
Mon
